The Belief Years

Self love, self care, self belief.  You know you need it but even just starting can feel overwhelming.

A while back I started to recognise that I felt quite small.  What had I actually done that mattered, what was I doing with my life, what did I want to do and was it too late?

Serendipty - when things happen by chance and bring about good fortune.  For me, this was two things that happened in tandem.  I read Glennon Doyle’s book Untamed, and, came across life coach Meg Kissak, via her podcast The Daily Pep.

These two amazing women helped me to realise, and believe, that I am enough - in fact I am more than enough.

I began talking to other women and was surprised, encouraged and a little sad to learn they had similar feelings and experiences.  I started to think about what had made us feel so small and ultimately it began with the messages we'd received as women, from birth to adulthood. These messages were so loud that they drowned out who we are and stopped us from recognising all we have achieved and can be.

I knew though that if I didn't continue to remind myself of who I am those messages would sneak back in.  What do I do next?  How do I keep my practice and belief going?

In this series of workshops we will look at the messages we have received as women during our life.  We will examine them, take what we need from them and throw away everything we don’t.  We will also be writing our own new messages - a manifesto to live by.  We will record these weekly, creating permanent journals to remind us that we are more than enough.

Over the 12 weeks we will cover:

  • Hello my name is…. Who am I?

  • Missing - listen to your gut, it knows what's best.

  • Fitting in or squeezing in - be who you want not what the world wants.

  • Female adjectives - it's not all we are.

  • The price of conformity - is it worth the sacrifice?

  • Cheerleading - start your own squad.

  • Next right thing - changing difficult habits?

  • Forgiveness… How to let go and move on.

  • Discipline - being a parent to yourself.

  • Ten

  • Eleven

  • Twelve

Spending money on your personal development, rather than something tangible or needed by someone else in your life, can feel extravagant.  If you believe this, then these workshops are definitely for you. I want you to do this course and never have doubts about investing in yourself ever again - how good would that feel?
